Our grandfather, Ray Krueger, had years of experience from working with our great grandfather in his sawmill since 1950 and starting to truck wood in 1972. He saw the gap in the services they were offering and started Krueger Forestry in 1980.
Our Father, Don Krueger, took over the family business in 1998. He introduced new technology, methods, and clientele to the business to bring us to where we are today. Today we are now a three generation, family owned and operated business, after Don's sons, Logan and Chandler Krueger, joined the team.
As a family owned and operated business, we have a personal stake in seeing that the generations of loggers after us learn the same as we did - a heritage of caring and concern for the land we harvest.
Our logging style is certainly different today than it was when we started over four decades ago, however the values and work ethic that has helped our company grow is still the foundation we continue to grow our business on.
Don has owned and operated Krueger Forestry since 1998. He has been involved in the business since he was a child, helping his father. When working with Don you will quickly see his dedication. His experience correlates to the quality of the finished product.
Logan joined the team in an official capacity after earning his degree in Forestry Management from UWSP, however he has been involved in the business since he was a child. His professionalism and knowledge have been aided through years of field experience working for Bell Timber as a Forest Technician. Now he's devoted his focus to bringing all he can to Krueger Forestry's team and landowners.
Chandler joined the team in an official capacity the start of 2023, as he works towards his degree in Welding at FVTC. However he has also been involved in the business since he was a child. Chandler keeps busy as he wears two hats, being a harvester operator and performing maintenance on our machines.
